My name is Alexander Kimathi. I
was born at my grandmother’s home and my mother left me and she went to
be married. My grandmother was not able to take me to school but since SONshine project started helping me, I have been able to learn well. The SONshine has bought me school
uniforms, books and pens, football for playing, chickens, goats and also clothes. At first I had no clothes and I was not
attending church but now SONshine have bought me church clothes and now I go to church. May God bless SONshine Project for
helping me to have clothes for attending church. Long live SONshine!
My name is Cecilia Karimi. I am in class six in Ntujia primary. I am the
last born in my family and my parents are very old and they were not able to cater for my needs. When the SONshine
project came, they sponsored me and I started living like the other lucky children. The project bought me school uniform
and pays for my school fees. They bought me goats which we normally milk and make tea for the whole family. It has also bought
me chickens which are laying eggs and every morning I take an egg before going to school. The project has also bought a mattress
for me which I normally sleep on. At first I used to sleep on a mat and I used to feel a lot of discomfort since my bed is
made of wood which used to press my body. The mattress is very soft and now I sleep good and get enough sleep. May God bless SONshine for making my sleep comfortably.
My name is Benson Munyoki. I am in class four in Ntujia primary. I was
born in a family which was very poor and we had no hope for education. My parents
went away and left when we were very young children. We had no hope for life but when the SONshine Project came, it helped me a lot
because I was able to go to school and at home we started getting food from the project. May
God bless SONshine for helping me to have food.
