New Project Aug 2011
We have purchased 50 Acres of 'scrub' land, which sits close to the
Tana River, the largest river in Tharaka. We intend to clear the land, fence around it then pump water unto the land
for irrigation. in addition, we intend to pump water from the river, clean it, then provide clean drinking water for
the local community.
The local community will be in charge of this project and any future profits arising from
the project will be used for community purposes.

The Rains have arrived, so we have been trying to get
as much seeds as possible planted. We could have our first harvest in three months time.
These nearby farms
give us HOPE. Just a little water on this fertile land and we will really MAKE A DIFFERENCE, and famine can be a thing of the past.
